New Marine Surveyor Website

A new marine surveyor website was a totally new industry for us. We were contacted by Craig Glassonbury, a marine surveyor based in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, to create a completely new website for his new business formed in 2025.

We had no prior knowledge of his business or what a Marine Surveyor did, so we needed to carry out a lot of research to create a highly relevant marine surveyor website that offered the client what he wanted and also gear it to what his customers would be looking for.

This made the website creation an exteremely interesting project with a high learning curve, but it expanded our knowledge considerably and Craig is not only particularly pleased wiy=th his website, he has also obtained several high paying customers since it went live.

The creation of this new marine surveyor website was made more difficult as the client niaively purchased his domain name through Google and Square Space, giving them control over the domain and they made it difficult quite complicated to transfer the nameservers to our hosting, which was not only much cheaper but also so much more flexible and usable. We managed to overcome these difficulties, but it delayed the site going live for a couple of weeks.

The moral of the story is, if you want a new website let us do it from start to finish, including domain name, however good your intentions, or buy your domain name from a specialist domain company such as Purely Domains or Namecheap, where you have control, not them
